DIRECTING
Directing has been such a joyous part of my theatrical career. Connecting with the material, to the cast and creative team members, make telling stories my passion.

Little Shop of Horrors 2019
"With the closing lyrics from Simon Fest's Little Shop of Horrors imploring the world, “whatever you do don’t feed the plant,” perhaps a better way to sing it would be, “whatever you do, go see the plant” and all the talent surrounding the strange tale of Audrey II in the SimonFest Theatre Company production of Little Shop of Horrors."

The Dinner Party 2017
"Director Henry Ballesteros has done an excellent job of creating this world, placing his actors and letting them live the parts they portray. Many comedies suffer from a sense that the action is contrived and “directed.” Ballesteros has created a very natural style the comedy is greatly served by this structure. "

The Romans In Britain 2017
The Romans In Britain first premiered at the National Theatre in London in 1982. A story about the Roman Invasion of the British Isles; an allegory for the British occupation of Northern Ireland. Due to the graphic nature in this show, it was brought to trial for moral outrage.
